Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team leads and fellow workers to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Documentation: Ability to provide valid identification for I-9 verification.
