Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks and setup.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, trash, and scrap materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and site-specific protocols strictly.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in reading blueprints or job plans when directed.
Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts (evenings and weekends) on a rotating schedule.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
