What You’ll Do:
- Assist with general site preparation, including digging, hauling, and cleaning.
- Load and unload building materials and tools from trucks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with specific tasks.
- Ensure all work sites comply with OSHA safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties such as digging, carrying materials, and cleaning up job sites.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment (e.g., drills, saws, pressure washers) safely.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and stack them neatly.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic measurements.
- No prior experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training!
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
