Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Perform accurate diagnoses and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, pipe bursts, and fixture failures.
- Installation: Install new piping, fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters), and appliances according to local building codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues in plain language, and provide transparent, written estimates before starting work.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards, wear appropriate PPE, and ensure job sites are clean and hazard-free upon completion.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job reports, time logs, and invoicing paperwork promptly.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Plumber license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, hydraulic principles, and blueprint reading.
- Tools: Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, tubing benders, and video inspection cameras.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
