Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across residential and commercial sites in San Jose.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical system issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for our clients.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues clearly and offering professional solutions.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize all electrical tools and equipment to ensure project efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job reports and timecards on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required for the state of California.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using multimeters, and understanding circuit diagrams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew.
