Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment with precision and care.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision to support carpentry, masonry, or general labor tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols to ensure a secure work environment for everyone.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) by providing necessary help to keep projects on schedule.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including waste removal and equipment cleanup.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level Open: No prior construction experience required; we provide training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and foremen.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills quickly.
- Equipment: Comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots.
