Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors.
- Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ pounds) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and reading blueprints.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
