Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely.
- Prepare and clean work areas, including excavation, grading, and debris removal.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure job site.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
- Measure, cut, and assist in the assembly of building components.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, humidity).
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths, areas, and quantities.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- No prior construction experience is required; we value attitude over experience.
