Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist with site preparation, including digging, grading, and cleanup.
- Operate basic power tools and equipment under supervision.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from foremen and project managers.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the construction industry.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
