Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and operations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, digging trenches, or setting up scaffolding.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure quality workmanship.
- Perform basic measurements and site cleanup duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand basic instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills are essential.
