The Role:
As a Construction Laborer, you will be the backbone of our operations. You will assist in various aspects of the construction process, ensuring that job sites are prepared, materials are managed efficiently, and projects stay on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, and prepare surfaces for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials (lumber, concrete, tools) at the job site.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with basic tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction machinery under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Tools & Math: Basic understanding of measuring tapes and math is a plus.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience considered).
