Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and distribution of construction materials, tools, and equipment to the job site.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including clearing debris, excavation, and general cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision to help complete construction projects efficiently.
- Support skilled tradespeople with framing, concrete finishing, and carpentry tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area by strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Move and lift materials as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Complete daily task checklists and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and flexible to work overtime as required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
