Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment for use on-site.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery and power tools under the supervision of certified operators.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks including measuring, cutting, and holding materials.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and adhering to site regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Availability: Flexible availability to work part-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus, but not required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
