Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and tools.
- Perform site preparation including excavation, leveling, and cleaning.
- Operate basic construction equipment (skid steers, forklifts) with certification.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA guidelines.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
- Perform minor repair and maintenance tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
- Commitment to safety protocols and teamwork.
- No prior construction experience required, but a strong work ethic is essential.
