Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Load/unload equipment and materials; transport supplies across job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Participate in site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing operations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required for equipment operation)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
