Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on-site.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as carrying heavy loads, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Ability to work physically demanding hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety instructions strictly.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not always required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical agility test.
