Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and generators under supervision.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including mixing concrete, sweeping, cleaning, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Availability: Reliable attendance and availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential weekend overtime.
- Willingness to Learn: Eager attitude to learn construction techniques and safety protocols with no prior experience required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Tools: Own basic personal safety gear (boots, gloves) is a plus, but not required.
