Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, framing, and finishing.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and move them to the work site using hand trucks or dollies.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., power drills, saws, levels).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by sweeping, cleaning up debris, and organizing tools.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and digging, as required by project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills on the job.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Own basic hand tools (optional but a plus).
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
