Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including carpentry, drywall hanging, and general cleanup.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors regarding project needs and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety instructions and job orders.
