Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality; ability to pass a drug test.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
