Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, loading/unloading materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and construction tasks
- Maintain clean and safe work areas by removing debris and following OSHA guidelines
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Operate light machinery like forklifts and excavators (with certification)
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
