Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Load/unuck construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Demolish structures and clear debris per project specifications
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work areas
- Perform physical labor including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and carrying
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be physically fit and able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Omaha metro area
