Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and framing tasks
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans
- Manage material inventory and coordinate deliveries efficiently
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- PA driver's license required (CDL a plus)
