Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the direction of foremen and supervisors.
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, ensuring they are organized and accessible for the crew.
- Dig, level, and prepare construction sites according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Perform basic measurements and material counts to ensure project accuracy.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA guidelines preferred).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team environment.
