Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor tasks on active construction sites, including digging, carrying, and lifting materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various project tasks.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and correctly under supervision.
- Keep the work site clean, organized, and free of hazards in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to specific job locations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No specific trade experience is necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow is required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and dedicated to completing tasks efficiently.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
- Safety Conscious: Basic understanding of workplace safety is a plus; we provide safety training upon hiring.
