Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms for concrete work.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision when qualified.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs frequently, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Tools: Willingness to provide own basic personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
