Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks at construction sites, including digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various project phases.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment safely.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site plans when necessary.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize them efficiently.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
