Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Perform site cleanup and preparation, including debris removal and sweeping.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials according to blueprints or instructions.
- Transport tools and materials to and from the job site as needed.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
