Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) with various tasks as directed.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Measure and cut materials accurately according to blueprints and instructions.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict safety procedures.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
