Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing, digging, and leveling areas for new structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging trenches, mixing concrete, and cleaning work areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision to support skilled tradespeople.
- Quality Control: Assist in inspecting work for quality and adherence to safety standards and project blueprints.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, general labor, or warehouse work is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Conscious: Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
