Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, including drills, saws, and sanders, under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Quality Control: Ensure all materials and work areas meet project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, general labor, or related fields is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic construction hand tools and power equipment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime when necessary.
