Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with daily operations.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and hauling construction materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, layout plans, and project specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for finishes, including cleaning and patching.
- Unload and store materials at the job site efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school background is a plus.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must possess the physical stamina and strength to perform heavy labor for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
