Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- General Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, painting, and cleanup.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to be trained on-site and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED preferred; on-the-job training provided.
