Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and compressors.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials (bricks, lumber, concrete) efficiently.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
- Physical Labor: Perform heavy lifting and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform manual labor for long shifts.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to understand and relay job site instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify safety hazards and report them immediately.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime if needed.
