Responsibilities
- Perform General Labor Duties: Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, flooring, and painting.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, and assist with basic heavy machinery operation under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Communication: Actively communicate with foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is a plus; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new skills.
