As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks and tool operation.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Excavation & Digging: Operate hand tools and small equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and footings.
- Assist with Demolition: Safely perform demolition tasks and debris removal as directed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Teamwork: Must be a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Safety Compliance: Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
