Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as directed by the site supervisor.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Documentation: Help with basic inventory tracking and reporting daily progress to the site manager.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with zero prior construction experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and committed to showing up for every shift.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide a valid ID.
