Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Assist skilled trades in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain job site cleanliness and safety compliance
- Load/unhaul construction materials using equipment forklifts
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Valid driver's license (commercial license a plus)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexible availability for 6am-5pm shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Commitment to OSHA safety protocols
