Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Assist skilled trades with preparation, cleanup, and site maintenance
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and effectively
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
