Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on active construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Unload and organize construction supplies, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, etc.) with various tasks to ensure project efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and removing debris.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely under supervision.
- Read and comprehend basic site blueprints and safety instructions.
- Perform routine site inspections and report any potential safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for immediate consideration.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
