Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from job sites using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, compressors, and light machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times.
- Trade Assistance: Support journey-level tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for site access.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
