Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Support: Provide hands-on assistance to skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual labor tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in the construction field.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to Learn: Open to receiving training and feedback to improve skills.
