Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor including digging, trenching, and heavy lifting.
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and grading terrain.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Operate basic power tools and equipment (jackhammers, saws, compressors) under supervision.
- Mix concrete, mortar, and other materials according to specifications.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and other tradespeople.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
