Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople by performing general labor tasks on construction sites.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, and prepare areas for laying foundations or flooring.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand tools and basic power equipment under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols at all times.
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Measurements: Assist with measuring and cutting materials as directed by foremen.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
