Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, moving materials, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Basic Construction Tasks: Perform general labor tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, carpentry assistance, and general cleanup.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws, generators).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring proper waste disposal and equipment storage.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in general construction labor preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License: A current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Tools: Basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure) familiarity is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
