Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties, including loading, unloading, and staging construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and heavy machinery under supervision.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe in compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and layout plans.
- Support framing, concrete, roofing, or excavation operations as directed by the foreman.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods outdoors.
- Basic understanding of construction tools and safety protocols.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
