Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring to ensure safety compliance.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, replacing faulty components as necessary.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including tool organization and debris removal.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic measurements.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various environments (hot, cold, at heights).
- Must be willing to obtain necessary certifications within a specified timeframe.
