Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on the job site.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and cleaning work areas.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Transport materials to and from the job site as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, standing, and bending.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
