Your Role:
As a Weekend Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations. You will assist in various aspects of the build process, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, laying out materials, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Skilled Assistance: Support skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with basic tasks, such as holding tools, mixing materials, or running errands.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to strict OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Tool Maintenance: Inspect tools for damage and report any maintenance needs to the Site Supervisor.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that all work meets the project specifications and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand safety manuals and verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Safety Conscious: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
