Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery and power tools such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, drywall hanging, concrete pouring, and general site clean-up.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Material Management: Organize and store materials efficiently to ensure project continuity.
- Repairs: Perform minor repairs and maintenance on tools or structures as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
